The Exchange to Office 365 Migrator software can migrate mailboxes from live Exchange Server to Microsoft Office 365. The software is able to transfer multiple numbers of mailboxes from EDB Server to Office 365 at one time. By using mapping option, the user can convert and save emails in respective MS Office 365 user account. For mapping, the user needs Office 365 User ID and Password. By providing these account credentials the user can move files in the respective mailbox. The EDB to Office 365 Migrator tool exports all file items of a mailbox to Microsoft Office 365 like contacts, emails, notes, calendars, tasks etc.; by default.

There is also a facility to migrate selective items to Office 365 by check or uncheck the files as per user needs. When the user runs EDB to Office 365 Migrator and clicks export option, the tool loads the Active Directory console of the Live Exchange Server. It will display the Active Directory details includes all mailboxes present in it, count of all items present inside the mailboxes. If you are transferring the platform from Exchange Server to Office 365, then after conversion, the files within the EDB Server will not be used. For this, the software provides an option to “remove or permanently delete” email items from EDB mailboxes after migration.

While migrating files from Exchange Server to MS Office 365, the user can access email filter option to convert only selective messages. By using date range filter, the user can only export email messages within the specified date range. Filter option is applicable only for emails and other files will be migrated completely.
