OST Splitter helps to split OST files of large sized into smaller parts of PST files. The user can break OST files that include emails, contacts, tasks etc. with any size to multiple parts. ANSI and UNICODE OST files can also be divided without losing any information using the software. After the process is completed the tool maintains the meta properties of the data as same as earlier. By using the option to split OST files by size the user can minimize the file which is oversized according to the given range of file size.

The OST Splitter software cannot support to truncate the OST files that are already corrupted due to large size. According to the specific date, the user can divide Outlook OST file by date. There is an option to mention a particular date and the user can break the OST files on the basis of that date. In Outlook 2010, 2013 versions, it is possible to split multiple .ost files on the basis of a folder. For each specific folder present in Outlook .ost file, the software allows to make a single file and also truncate the particular folder by size according to the users choice.

The OST Splitter enables to reduce .ost file size according to the year and also the user can use this ‘split OST by year’ option to divide large OST files yearly. Using the tool, the client can easily divide oversized OST file into small parts without losing the original structure of the data. After breaking, the software will create a new folder to save the files. The CSV file will also be saved at the same location where .ost file is located by default.
