CRM
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become the buzz word of the century. More and more data calls for a bigger business strategy and maintenance of leads and records. While not everything can be maintained in an excel sheet, there comes a need where a tracking system is required. Salesforce initially started off as the best CRM solution provider in the market, when slowly CRMs became famous amongst industries. In a short period of time, Zoho bloomed up and competed with Salesforce, shoulder-to-shoulder. Salesforce took a permanent place in the market, with its features and robust functionalities, while Zoho won over customers through pricing schemes and newer technology.
Applications
Zoho’s lead and operation management cannot be looked past as their User-friendly design won over customers. With attractive pie charts and demographics, Zoho portrays a modern UI design. Salesforce offers an in-depth knowledge on leads and contacts in a more traditional outdated format, but if you are the kind who is looking for information and not UI, then Salesforce is the winner here. With social media links and customer happiness insights, Zoho brings light to the Self Service theme through forums and ticket adding services. Salesforce requires a more technical knowledge on understanding certain terms like Opportunities and poses information in a normal format. Zoho has an amazing Social CRM where social media posts are revealed. Salesforce lacks this feature. Sales and Marketing automation is best in both CRMs and cannot be compared, as both have their differences.
Pricing
Zoho is famous for being the cheapest CRM as they have now introduced a new package called ‘Zoho One’ where all of their products are bought together for a cost-friendly rate. Salesforce CRM is known for its high costs, only because it can be customized and is immensely flexible. Both Zoho as well as Salesforce are cloud-based CRMs that call for a monthly or annual subscription fee. While Salesforce requires a year-long contract, Zoho does not ask for one. Zoho does not ask for any other fee once subscribed for its services, while Salesforce requires additional fees for support.
Support
Zoho’s support is included in the package that they offer and no additional fee is required. Salesforce’s support is to be purchased and comes with a fee. Both CRMs provide 24/7 support through phone, cat and email services. Zoho has a separate customer self-service portal where the support requests are tracked.
