Articulate Storyline uses PowerPoint’s appearance and feel. Given its flexibility, the learning curve is not particularly steep, especially if you are already familiar with PowerPoint.
Triggers, which activate when a screen object is touched, clicked, rolled over, etc., are used to create the majority of end-user interactivity. Other screen objects may be displayed or hidden, automatic page navigation may be triggered, variables may be changed, or media may be started or paused when one of these user actions is detected. No coding is necessary with this configuration, and authoring actions are entered via a selection interface.
Articulate Storyline is a complicated tool, and authoring effectiveness may be constrained in companies that don’t devote the necessary time to training. But since Storyline is one of the most popular e-learning authoring tools, many designers will already be familiar with it. Additionally, updating e-learning materials or fixing flaws after projects have been released might take a lot of time.
