The BKF Repair tool allows the user to scan, repair and extract corrupted Windows .bkf file. It can recover the damaged backup file completely which includes documents, images, music files etc. There are some features of this tool.
1. You can set the scan mode to scan the file.
2. Select Quick Scan, Advance Scan, Range Based Scan.
3. After scanning you can go to Extract mode.

If the data has less corrupted, then we can choose Quick Scan mode otherwise for highly corrupted files select deep scanning option. There is another one scanning option present for selective file recovery and it is Range Based Scan. The BKF Repair software is also capable to recover file items from VERITAS Backup Exec by Symantec and NTBackup. There is an option available to save the scanned file after the tool scans corrupted backup data. So next time you can open the same file if you want to process that file again.

Without losing any data you can recover the damaged files using this software. Users can restore selective file items by check or uncheck the files and folders which wants to extract from BAK files. After completing the repair process, the tool will show all the recovered files from BAK file. You can search any items in the backup data using file name or extension. The BAK Repair application provides two options for data extraction to save the recovered file.

You can open the data at original file location or at any desired location. It offers a Range Based scanning option to scan selective part of the backup file. You just need to provide a range between ‘From’ and ‘To’ in percentage. It does not have any file size limitation to recover the corrupted backup data.
